Have you had a memorable experience at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple? If so the historical committee is compiling a book of temple experiences from the members of our stake. You may share any type of experience: family experiences; personal experiences; youth group experiences; serving at the open house; a missionary experience; or just feelings and impressions as you walked through during the open house. If you would like, you may include a picture. The book will be place within a time capsule in the cornerstone, and with your permission, a copy of your experiences will be available in a book in the stake offices.
Please submit your experience to your ward temple open house coordinators who will then forward them to the stake historical committee chairman, Kris Barney in the Rose Canyon 1st Ward. Please submit them soon so we won’t be compiling them at the last minute.

The Freedom To...
I thought it was only fitting to put this on the blog. It really touched me when I was watching it. It really is important, especially at this time of year, that we take a step back and really think about the sacrifices that have been made for us—the sacrifices that are still being made for us.
Don't ever take your freedom, your freedom to choose, for granted.
